Building on last year's success I was again hired by Daniel Rivkin (Daniel now runs Video Cairo Support Services - www.vccs.tv) to edit the testimonials for the Sony Ericsson Best Sellers event. Video testimonials arrived in every format under the sun (over 30 of them for 26 1 minute clips), from professionally filmed to mobile phone footage, and the brief was to "put it in phone and use the new facebook and Play Now interfaces".
Oh, and the challenge was to do it in 7 days from conception to delivery.
An almighty sleep-deprived marathon of FCP -> After Effects -> Cinema 4D -> After Effects -> FCP round-tripping ensued, Lisa (my long-suffering betrothed) decided I was a complete maniac after I spent 48 hours awake... but the job got done, on time, on budget, and the client was happy!
